Provide technical support for Windows and OSX based computers and peripherals. You will be working with the Technical Support Manager and the Throckmorton Computing Coordinator to provide computing technical support for faculty, staff and students within Throckmorton Plant Sciences Center. These tasks include solving common computing, networking and printing issues. Other tasks include formatting new computers and installing operating systems using in-house developed procedures; setting up video conferences and projectors for seminars and classes and moving equipment, receiving new equipment and setting up computing workstations.
Must have competency with computing equipment and computing concepts. Must be enrolled as a full-time student at K-State. Training will be provided.
