  • Dr. Doug Jardine - Identification and management of disease pests of field row crops. State Leader for Extension Plant Pathology. Research interests include seed treatments of soybeans and management of charcoal rot and Phytophthora root rot.
  • Dr. Chris Little - General and applied aspects of charcoal rot (Macrophomina phaseolina) and sudden death syndrome (Fusarium virguiliforme) of soybean.
  • Dr. Tim Todd - Evaluation of varieties and germplasm for resistance to the soybean cyst nematode Heterodera glycines. R-gene deployment strategies for durable resistance.
  • Dr. Harold Trick - transformation and molecular biology of soybean. Develop novel methods for genetic engineering of soybean. Investigates novel methods for SCN control, fungal resistance and value-added traits.
