Interdepartmental Genetics

The Interdepartmental Genetics Graduate Program at Kansas State University trains MS and PhD students in the basic principles and applications of classical and molecular genetics for careers in research, teaching, and industry. The program is diverse and includes faculty from the multiple Divisions and Departments throughout the university.

Both degrees involve intensive, multi-year research experiences that are largely planned and executed by the student with guidance by a major professor and supervisory committee.
